Sinkwhole - The EP LP (2001)

There's not an awful about these lot online so I have compiled most of what I could find online

Sinkwhole were a Nu Metal (with the occasional hardcore influence) band from Denver, Colorado active from July of 1999 until early 2005.

After auditioning for various major record labels, winning a battle of the bands, playing The Boulder Theatre with Prong, and sharing the stage at The Red Rocks with Kittie, 3 Doors Down, Godsmack, and Bush (of which there is a clip available here), it looked like the band was about to break through the underground with a signing to Columbia Records, however Columbia would end up signing The Union Underground instead. Following this major blow, the band ended up signing to a local indie label (Saturn Records) and releasing a compilation of most of their recorded material, entitled 'The EP LP', to limited outreach. In the years after the release of The EP LP, the band tried to stay together in hopes of another break, however that would never come. This all leading to the eventual disbanding of the band.

This band to me sounds like a mix of Primer 55 and early Godsmack if you gave them a DJ

The type of thing your divorced uncle would play while fixing his car

Decent enough sound, although I am Curious to see how far this group would have actually gone, they could have very much improved their sound if they just stuck at it.
